Loving it!
Hi all,
Thought I would share my latest mod, 08 LCI tail lights, they were installed using the cables from Bruce miranda. Really pleased with the look, brings the rear of the car up to date
A clip comparing the normal bulb indicators to LED indicators
All done
Quick note, the flickering in the videos don't happen in real life, its just on camera
James.

Hi there
the cable cost me about ?250 and the lights were from ebay for ?230
Bruce is doing a group buy of the cables here : https://5series.net/forums/index.php...pic=85348&st=0
You can also contact him from that thread
The turn signals are amber for me, as i'm in the UK, think the US ones are red

Has anyone noticed that with the LCI retrofit, which lights come on under braking? I think the inner ones come on only... I'm not sure though.
The reason I ask was befor doing the LCI upgrade, my pre-LCI brake lights were only the outer ones I think. After the LCI upgrade, only the inner ones come on.
I have a 2008 LCI E60 as well, and when I brake, both inner and outer lights come on! Also, when unlocking the car, the front and rear lights fade on! Which is a cool feature my car doesn't have.

Again, this is how I designed the kit. On pre-LCI cars the Outer Brake light is the normal brake and the Inner Brake light is for the BFD. I swapped the positions of those because the inner Brake light has a bigger surface area in the light cluster than the Outer. Thus the Brake light looks a lot brighter with the positions swapped.
On the LCI cars, BMW moved the BFD to the fog light (circle) and thats why you have both Brake lights coming on during normal braking but on heavy braking you will get the circle light as well. However if you have the fog lights switched on then on an LCI car you basically wont have the BFD feature.
