Does anyone have experience using the Aux/USB hookup to play an MP3 player that is not an iPod? I have a Zune 30gb player and was told by my sales advisor that I would have to use the Aux jack (I attempted to use the USB jack but it did not work). I have gone online and found a Soundgate adapter pack that claims it will work. It indicates that it will play the Zune through the speaker system but you will have to use the Zune to move through menus. It will not interface with iDrive.

Any information would be appreciated.

I use my Zune with the Aux input. The Aux input simply plays audio through any source with a phono jack, you will not be able to select songs through your idrive, you will have to use your Zune for that.

That's how I understand it to work too.
