+1 with Hoen. Had them on my last BMW in Xenon match, wanted to go with the yellow though. If you want to go all out, buy yellow film to put on top of the fog cover as well.

he switched out to HIDs 3000K. Hoen bulbs r just plug and play. They are just a regular bulb replacement. nothing special

right, but that still doesn't tell us how long he had them on, and how they behaved...besides, fogs aren't meant to be on all the time

the OP asked about bulbs/not HID set-up

either way...if the heat is a problem...seems Hoen's are a better solution...

you have to be careful with Nokya bulbs because they have a "stage 1" and a "stage 2". the stage 2 is a higher than stock wattage and requires you to upgrade the wiring harness to thicker wire.

i have Euro Dezigns bulbs for my fogs. they are a perfect balance between color and brightness. i've had them for almost 6 months now with no problems yet...

the ones i have are 55 watts which is the exact same wattage as the stock fog light bulbs which are made by Philips. i emailed the company on ebay to confirm the wattage before i placed my order.

those high power bulbs people are buying that melt the harness are usually between 70-120 watts.
