BMW offers staggered 124's with high offsets specifically for xi models as an upgrade option.

Kinda broad question that depend on various things... the offset, tire size & the wheel diameter to name a few ... i.e. w/ 19" width of 8.5" - 9" up front w/ ET35-38 can do while on the rear width of 9.5"-10" w/ ET33-35 will fit ... will probably able to fit wider w/ 18" and maybe less w/ taller 20" depending on the offset & tire width ... and if you go w/ custom fitment you can dial everything to the max they way you want it.

When you use aftermarket suspension like coilovers all will change again since it gives more clearance inside to use wider wheel w/ higher offset.

Not sure of max, but factory tires on staggered OEM wheels are f-245 and r-275.

Forgive my ignorance but I thought the xi were AWD models equipped with transfer cases. If this is true then wouldn't staggered tires abnormally stress out the gearing in the transfer case?

Quick Reply: xi staggered wheels?
