Well I'll try to pay it forward on this one, since I had the same question a few months ago.....

There should be some good postings on this as well as a great DIY posting that someone did on how to swap them out (going in through the wheel well). What I had people tell me was go with the MTEC 2X fogs. I put them in and am very happy with them and the color match they offer (plus they are cheap). The other option I saw a lot of people going with were the PIAA Extreme Force bulbs, but they make the fog housing appear blue when are not turned on, which I didn't want. I tried some Silverstar Ultra's first and they were IDENTICLE to stock fogs and were a complete waste of time.

My 2 cents...I hope it helps.

just find a PIAA bulb that is close in temp to the OEMs...BMW uses 4200K, so get as close as you can to get a close match....the higher you go in temp, the more blue/purple the tint becomes and the less light it throws...

+1, I also installed the Mtec bulbs, they look great and are inexpensive too! I'm sure you'll love these bulbs!

These are just bulbs to retrofit into your existing foglights, so there are NO bumper fitment issues at all!

Simple...HOEN Xenonmatch Fog Bulbs. They cost $29.95 and look great. They are cheaper than PIAA and are identical. A member last year bought 4 different brands of xenon match fog bulbs and compared all of them. The HOEN's were the winner. I've had HOEN's on my car for over a year now and love them as my fogs. They match extremely well to the xenons and the white AIB's.

Outside of that, you can spend $200-$300 for HID Fogs.

Hey C, once again I am following your lead. I ordered the HOEN fogs and installed them today. They look great. Great find for $30!

+1 for HOEN
