Xenon light bulbs / halo

My Ride: Stock 2008 Space Grey 528i
My baby is a work in progress. I'm making her pretty slowly. I'm currently in the market for new wheels.
Hey guys. I'm really a newbie at this and need lots of info!
Would it be or look normal if I put xenon bulbs on my front lamps without changing the halo on my 528? What're my different options as far as the front lamps go? Right now it just doesnt look right the way it came stock. Can anyone who's played around with their headlights tell me what kinda money they spent?
I see pics on peoples avatars and signatures but no one really seems to have a full size pic with their headlights on.
