I have 530I 2006 that uses xenon d1s bulb.

I would try to replace the bulb to change to philips bulb, but I couldn't change because my car has used d1s bulb.

I have question, why does my car use d1s type? and can I change the bulb to 5000K or 6000K anyway?

it's got a Valeo backing - but the sticker is removed (for obvious reasons) - but the MFG showed them to us prior.
