Xcarlink DOES have the lines... I can't remember how they got there though. I'm thinking it was a dip switch seletion or either in the menu. BTW, what kind of camera did you get that cost that much!?

Weird I didn't know it had that option. Must be when you activate reverse camera. I haven't installed mine yet so never tried it. I was going by what I've seen and have seen any with the lines, I'll have to try this out.

Sorry, I don't know.... I just had a look and I remember from before seeing a menu where there were channels etc but I just went and checked and can't find it. Have you tried to contact Xcarlink in the UK? When I bought mine I had a few questions and they were pretty good about getting back with me. Normally, I heard back the following day. Sorry not much help here.

Do you still have your instructions that came with the unit? Maybe it says something about this being an option to turn on or off.

I would just trow somewhat of a low ball bid in the offer price and they will come back with their lowest price. I'm thinking it was around 200 USD.
