wrong date on my cluster

Hey guys, I was trying to do a search but could not find anything about it..... My date on my instrument cluster (rpm, mph area) is off, how do I change it to have the correct date?
is it the turn the car on, hold button, then filter through until I reach date? then change or is it part of the iDrive?
