How difficult is it to do this, like removing all the trim panels? I feel like I would be breaking clips and whatever trying to get everything out.

it's a total pain in the ass, i did it in my car and then grew tired of it and ended up buying the original aluminum one and swapped it.

LOL! Yeah, need to retuck that thing back under. Was thinking about the iDrive knob, but I like the contrast between the Alum and the CF. Too much CF gets too ricey.
