eh im a newbie still.. haha

the dinan high flow throttle body for the 530i.. is it worth it? i dont have an intake or anything and my car isnt chipped either. im not really looking into chipping my car anymore either after hearing some opinions and looking at the price. has anyone used it (the throttle body)? in terms of getting my car a little faster, some of my friends have just been telling me to empty out my cat and/or get headers but i still have the warranty on the car.

opinions and suggestions please

thanks

My personal opinion is that the throttle body alone is not going to give you that much of a noticeable difference in power. You'd have to combine an intake with an exhaust etc...to increase the overall breathability of the engine and get the most hp.

If you car is still under warranty then best bet is to install a sprint booster and it be much more fun to drive and cheep why to mod too.
you can alway unplug it when you have a servies, this will not void your warranty.

pinguhk,

isn't there like two versions or types of sprint booster for our car. One is like a mild version and another a very agressive one? do you happen to know which one is the mild one and which one is the agressive one? thanks.

Sprint booster, doesn't add more HP to your car, it just makes your car really responsive to throttle. Samething as driving in DS, but a lot more. If you get what I'm trying to say.

I know that, that why I got it so the cop don`t nick me. IN HK itis very stricked with the boost in the HP.
A better responsive to throttle is better for me in HK but if I was back in UK I will get the supercharge, the booster and the pipe
