I just complete my latest Mod. I have installed a computer in my 04 E60. Touch Screen Monitor, GPS Navigation, Backup Camera, Video Conference. Internet Via Verizon BroadBand Card. I am in the process of Making a cover for the Equiptment in the trunk.

Thats cool. I was thinking of doing something like that. I found this Korean company that sells touchscreens that replace the iDrive screen. The touch screen still works like normal with iDirve but allows you to switch to a PC input with full touch screen capability. Unfortunately, the screen was $800! I cant find the exact link right now, but here are some pictures of it. The screen comes complete with the black trim around it, without the protective clear plastic (so you can touch the screen).

Only Probably is you have to lean all the way forward to touch the screen, my setup lets you just reach down and touch the screen. I did my setup for less the $800 with includes the screen and computer.
