because Tony didn't have a choice. It came stock on his M5
LOL

I was wondering I thought I saw 545I modded on your sig(I am getting old and blind) and didn't read the fine print My bad...

For the money I am spending I have found a few 07 M5's but I want something more gas friendly I have enough non-gas friendly toys.

I drove the piss out of my friends M5 one weekend. I think I got 9mpg avg I still miss my old 03 E39 M5. That was a great car.

It was a blast.

Which 5 series model are you looking for? You should get an M5 anyway and have one of the best sports sedan on the market to compliment one of the best sports car in the world, your 997 TT.

I am going to ignore the M5 comment just kidding. I knew I should stay away from the boards!! I am looking at the 535i with some small mods as a DD. Don't need the crazy power of the M5 even though its very intoxicating. Who knew a 4 door sedan can do that huh?

I read enough about the HPFP problems on the x35 motor but so far not I am detracted from it. One thing I have learned is that a forum is a very small sampling of actual cars on the road.

I have to look at a natural brown interior to see what that would look like. I know the tan but haven't seen the natural on A/W before. End the end it will probably be a black interior but I have to look to make sure

you should look into getting a flash or piggyback just to make your DD a little more fun

Oh thats already a given. I know that you went with the weaksauce( I read that on another thread someone calling the JB+ weaksauce). I am looking at JB3+ unless someone convinces me otherwise.

Are you happy with your tune? I haven't read much bad about it. Terry burger is a nice guy and is responsive with emails. I spoke to my SA at BMW(personal friend) and he will make sure a certain head mechanic who loves mods will be the one working on it. The Tech wanted to help me with my mods and do it on their time but they told him no. So anytime he can help me out he will. It does pay to take the SA's and Tech's out to lunch from time to time. Even a few beers makes it even better. Knowing the family is the best

The Porsche techs are really cool and the fact they can work on the cars at the shop on Saturday when they are off is really cool.

Jb3 is definitely the way to go, the new v1.4 numbers are great. I am happy with my jb+, no complaints. Have you spent sometime on n54techtuning.com as well. That's a great plaice for info on the jb3 as well....Terry is an active member there...

Terry is definitely a good guy to deal with fast replies and knows his stuff. Where are you located?

I am spending time over there at N54. Good place for info. That's where I got the idea for the 535i. I liked the numbers some of the people are putting up and not too many issues related to the tuning more problems from BMW than from the tune. Thats always good news.

I am in ATL.

BTW I think I got the meaning of your name finally. I am dense - I have been looking at your handle on here and I was like I know it means something. BLONDE MOMENT!

The west coast hands the east coast your left over mod ideas after a few years

My lease is up next year, 12/2010...we'll see what I'll be parting out...for sure the jb+.....

don't get too excited for numbers and mods on the 535 vs the 135 and 335, bolt on mods like downpipes and intercooler's are not available for the 535i, which will limit the gains from the jb3.....

I do know member My535i (gophaster on n54tech.com) is running a jb3 and meth set up....
