I have woofer in the trunk, I also placed a switch so I can easily turn off the system, the switch is in-between the remote wire... so if I want to turn the system off or on, I have open the trunk... and do so.

I'm kind of lazy and I was wonder if this can be done remotely?
I mean isn't here a switch that can be turned off/on via remote?

I kn I can turn the wire inside, but I would hate to do this.

my switch:

You need a 12V DC relay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/40-Amp-12v-...alenotsupported

You mount the control switch in the cabin, and the relay where your current switch is. The switch controls the current to the coils in the relay. When the switch is on and current flows to the relay, the coils are energized and complete the circuit.

Can't you just install the Gain/bass knob in the cabin? It will allow you to trun up or down the bass for your sub.

why not just turn down the bass on the eq settings? The one thing i hate about the bmw is it does not have individual settings for the subwoofers.

There would only be one wire, and its a very small wire. Very easy to hide. It's usually mounted under the steering wheel area.

it would have to be 2 wires, it has to come from the trunk into the cabin, and then return back.

but I came a cross this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...4&viewitem=
