I've seen that model before. It's a e323csi lancer. Made by BMercedishi

With all the time, ingenuity, and money spent you'd figure whoever made this thing would at least try and make it look nice.
Who knows maybe they think it looks great lol
That silver bmw/mb/civic hybrid wouldn't look half bad without all the shitty spoilers, vents and crappy wheels. Props for the custom work but shit why even bother?

My only question is: Do the people that do these ridiculous modifications actually think they are fooling anyone?

I dont get it - take their 10k civic and put in 5k of "body work" or whatever they call the modifications, and they could have bought a stock entry level luxury sedan - used of course, and likely a prior generation, but still would look nicer and of course be genuine.

The only thing I can think of, is these are highschool students who received hand-me-downs, whose parents would not allow them to purchase new cars on account of insurance/money/etc, so the true cost of a new car is prohibitive. The other possibility is that they may have poor credit so cannot finance a newer vehicle so they make-do with what they've got.

Who knows, but to each their own.
