Guys - Sorry for being so naive....my old Lexus was a total handful in the Snow. The TRC etc was useless and people tell me BMW Auto's are worse. No matter what gear, or how slow, the Lexus would do 180's all over and very nervous...my old E21 316 was really good fun many years ago....

Any useful pointers, or should I leave it in the garage when weather worsens?? How does DTC help?

Are winter tyres a must in the UK?

The E60 is great in snow and on ice.

If you live in a climate where it snows or the roads can get icy,
get a set of 17" Nokian RSi's.

Snow is now problem!! I am running 18" Dunlop winter sport M3's in the winter and my 550 is a snow eating Snowmobile!!!

The DSC and DTC are so advanced that you won't even notice (if you won't choose to).

So what does DTC do? I also heard these cars suck in snow. How would Potenza runflats do in snow?
