Looks like the Tire Rack has the winter tires listed again.

I've had this planned out since last winter...:

Mille Miglia MM11-2 Sport Rims
17 inch: $169 each x 4 = $676
18 inch: $199 each x 4 = $796

Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 Tires
225/50-17: ?
245/40-18: $185 each x 4 = $740

Still trying to decide wether to go 17 or 18 for the winter. Will probably choose the 18s.

Here's a pic of that setup with 17 inch rims:
In the picture of this setup, there are the BMW caps on the wheels -- can they be ordered separately, are they taken from the original BMW wheels, or where do they come from?

You can buy BMW stickers that adhere to the caps that come with the wheels. That's what I did on my E39 winter setup.

Depending on how much you wash the wheels or what types of wheel cleaners you use, you might find the stickers will start to yellow or peel after a while. They don't cost much so it's not really a big deal to simply buy some new stickers every year or so...

When I ordered mine from TireRack they included the BMW inserts for free (I thought that was kind of nice ). They appear to be the same inserts as the stock ones (no stickers).

Thanks Rudy and RH530 for your replies! Is the warranty voided when using any wheels other than original BMW wheels?

Thanks for the picture. I was worried about the look of the 17" on the car.

I will probably getting the same setup (MilleMiglia 17" satin silver + Blizzak ws50).

I'll put Dunlop Wintersport M3's on my OEM wheels.

I talked to Jim at Tirerack, and he said the Dunlops are the best if you want the tire to perform in the dry and don't have too much snow.

I've run Blizzaks on my last two Audi Quattro's and they are absolutely incredible in the snow and ice, but they are godawful if you are looking for a responsive tire in the dry.

The Winter Sports don't come in the OEM size with the sport package, will you go with the 17" OEM size? 225/50-17?
