I go with the fabric mats all year.

Just rip them off once in a while and shake the snow and dirt off.
In the spring you can wash them properly.

If you must go for rubber ones, buy them from your dealer.
I had them in my E39, they where real quality, weight about 2 kg a piece.

Paid ~ $60 + shipping.

I feel that the fabric ones are more stylish.

Actually, the E39 was the only one of my latest BMW's with rubber mats.

I did not have them in my previous E60 nor in the E46 coup?s nor in my E36's.

You mean you didn't ask for one free when you buy the car?

So it is.

I had beige interior in my 320Ci with beige mats.
Black ones would have done more contrast, even in the summer.

By the way, please do no chrome your wheels, remember the style!
I would stick to you cars superior tech!

I bought my set from Bravian Auto in New Hampshire. It was about $50 for set of 4. The channel is as deep as the BMW rubber mats. However, so far so good since last winter with all the storm and rain in Boston.

We live in CANADA, lots of snow, salt, slush half the year, you have to have rubber mats. I asked for them with my car, just ask your salesman.
