New ideas for mods. Only things done are afe intake filter, charcoal delete, painted front reflectors, sprint booster v2, remus exhaust, CF front lip, CF kindey grills.

I'm interested in possibly lowering the car, but I'm not sure how much lower it will actually get since I'm already with the stock sports. I'm curious if any minimal ground clearance is a big deal. What size and brand to Choose? I'm clearance and tracking in ice and heavy snow.

I'm also looking for the best deals to get m5 floor mats, interior and courtesy lighting upgrades.

Have been keeping an eye out for a carbon fiber rear diffuser, and maybe even a trunk lip spoiler.

Cold air intake, throttle body, or rpi scoops - any of it if is worth it.

Nice E60.

For lights, I'd PM John@Motorcepts He has all your lighting needs.

Cold air intake (AFE intake) not recommended. It's more like Hot Air intake. I'm assuming your E60 is a 550i. I'd go for a Dinan dual intake system if you can find one for a good deal. Get RPI scoops.

I'm interested in lowering the car, but I'm not sure how much drop to go with and I'm worried about low ground clearance in the winter. Can someone from a cold weather/snowy climate share their experience with this - 5 series, lowered, body kit + heavy snow. I'm going to get some 18" wheels with Blizzaks, but again, just wondering about the whole experience.

I'm also looking for deals on where to get m5 floor mats, interior/courtesy lighting upgrades. I have also been keeping an eye out for a carbon fiber rear diffuser, and maybe CF trunk lip spoiler. Might consider a Dinan Intake and Dinan Software in the spring.

Throttle body spacers, or RPI scoops - any of this worth it?
Thanks for making me post this jumbled mess above on my iPhone and then not allow me to edit it. Here's the version from a PC:

The factory BMW suspension may already be a challenge for winters in Chicago.

My local BMW Center is pretty good about matching prices from other sellers, especially other BMW Centers.
