Will these work with Xenon Headlights???

i read where the E60's with halogen headlights have the 194 style bulb and are able to just put one of those xenon type 194 bulbs from auto zone in the housing and whiten up the angel eye rings.
i then read where the people with HID's or ....Xenon headlights have a different setup for illuminating the angel eye rings in the housings. so my question is.. what is the difference? is there something built in or will this kit work because it says it works with ALL BMWs with angel eyes so now im getting confused. ive been searching for a while now with little luck.

no those wouldnt work. I have the LED angel eyes for halogens for $40 shipped. They may have an error message during start up and may or may not go away depending on the wiring of your car.
