Looks like you have an 04 530I. The offsets for a 3 series would be high, so the wheels would be tucked inside the fenderwells. You could put spacers on the wheels to make it work, but some don't like spacers.

I can't recognize this forum lately
Bolt pattern correct. Center bore
Now, what car do YOU have? Left out the most important part
I don't know how that site can help, but look through realoem.com to find your original wheels and their offsets. Then google "offset calculator" and verify for yourself whether the wheels in question would actually fit.
non-M3 e46 wheels are a perfect fit for E6x with X-drive. But with RWD E60 there's an approximately 23mm offset gap. It can be compensated with spacers though.
M3 E46 wheels have matching rear offsets to the RWD E60, but the fronts would require a 20mm spacer. Which can lead to vibrations if you don't know what you're doing.
Higher offsets can be dealt with through the use of spacers, but it is not recommended.
Maybe bc it is the way things actually are?

Let me guess, you're looking at Breytons?
These offsets are perfect for an Xi. If you have a RWD car, you'll need 10mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers in the back. The widths are probably 8.5" fronts and 9.5" in the back, so you could go even a little more aggressive and get 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers for a more flush mount.
Again, if your car is AWD, aka Xi, aka X-drive, these offsets will work perfectly. As a matter of fact these offsets are just about as aggressive as you can possibly get on an Xi, so they'll sit almost perfectly flush
