I have the standard US HiFi system on my 04 530. I do not have a 6 disc CD changer, only the single disc player.
I also do not have a "Aux" on my idrive.

Will this kit work for me?

Not too sure, but I was in the same boat as you before. You will need to program your idrive to recognize the CD changer and this will run off of the prewire in your car's glove box. I think you might need to get the MP3 capability programed aswell too. Maybe another member and chime in and confirm.
