Looking to upgrade my MT shift knob, and was wondering which of these will work with the E60?

I like that High gloss 1 series one, not sure how comfortable it is/would feel tho...that would look pretty sick tho..

I got the first one, the zhp model, I love it, definetly has a more weighted better feel.

I have the same one and really like it.

MT knobs are pretty much interchangable between all BMW's.

If you are changing then why dont you go for the lit version that lights up the shift pattern.

Thanks John, I'm leaning on that version (short knob, #3).


I like the lit-option, but where do you connect the wire to light it up?

Would it bother you to have a 5-spd pattern on the shifter in a 6-spd car? That would annoy me, personally.

+1 for the 1-series shifter. Looks great.

Whatever you do, be careful when you pull off the old one... When it lets loose, it is very easy to punch yourself in the face.
