Thumbs up

I have a 2008 528i, build date was I believe first couple months of 2008. I found a pair of M5 Mirrors that I want to install, but they are from a late 2006 model M5. I was told that since my car is a LCI, they wont work properly? Wire connection may be different? is this true?

I went on REALOEM and saw that there is a different part number for M5 Mirrors that were produced after 9-08.
So does this mean that I have to find mirrors from that production date or newer? I know there are a bunch of LCI owners who installed M5 mirrors that can shine on this. Please let me know if I can just use what I have or what I need to do. I was told that this set has the Auto dip and heated glass. I have spent close to $900 and hope I dont lose out.

Also, will I need to change out my Window and mirror control on the door so that the auto dip works? I have power fold button now on my mirrors. I really appreciate all that can help.

Get them they will work. No need to change anything.

Thanks Bruce I appreciate your input. I might PM you with a question about powering up the mirrors.
