Hi!

​​​​​​I removed my resonator few days ago after watching some YouTube clips of others doing it. But I am having this wierd sound that appears after Im making revs (see video on link).
(Car is a E60 530i 3,0l N52)

What is that buzzing sound and how do you get rid of it? There is no leak or anything like that either.
And as I said, that noise started when I removed the resonator.

Sounds like the turbo waste gate rattle, buzz. Maybe it was always there but just didn't notice it?

 

​​​​​There is no turbo on this engine. It's a naturally aspirated straight six engine. I found some other videos with the same engine and setup making the same noise. Apparently this buzz sound is all natural and no ones seems to know what causes it. The original resonator and muffler was created to hide that noise. Will be putting back my original resonator to see if it will do the trick
