I loved them..I would still be running the same sizes if I had kept the car. The stance was perfect.
The 19x11's are et33, and they didn't rub at all with the 305/30's...WITH the car on the ground. With the car in the air, the tires would barley touch the inner plastic liner thing closest to the back door in the wheel well...but that was the only time. With the car on the ground. The OEM negative camber would allow for clearance

With 10mm spacers on the rear they would just barley barley barley rub the inner fender lip when i would hit large dips in the road...but still not bad at all. With the fender lip rolled it probably would have cleared just fine. With 5mm spacers on the rear there was no rubbing...even with 2 adult passengers in the back seat.

Firstly i wasn't calling you out, just offering my opinion. Secondly Formula1 regulations state that:

12.4 Wheel dimensions :
12.4.1 Complete wheel width must lie between 305mm and 355mm when fitted to the front of the car and between 365mm and 380mm when fitted to the rear.
12.4.2 Complete wheel diameter must not exceed 660mm when fitted with dry-weather tyres or 670mm when fitted with wet weather tyres.

Now il explain this to you slowly for your benefit BMW fanatic, if we take the narrowest width front rim used, 305mm and narrowest rear rim, 365mm we get a combined width of 670mm, and the tyres used will not exceed 660mm. If we take the widest front and rear rim width allowed (which most teams will use) 355mm + 380mm = 735mm and the tyres used will still not exceed 660mm in the dry.

Now if you are stupid enough to think that tirerack still knows better or that I'm talking about a race car and not a road car, the principle still applies, the 305 you want or even the 295 is way too wide.

If you still don't believe me just look at the R35 Nissan GT-R... it uses a 9.5 and 10.5 front and rear rim, and on that they mount a 255 and 285... Do you think Tirerack.com still knows better? Do you really think mounting a 295 or 305 on the back of the GT-R would have made it handle better and they missed it? Check other manufacturers too that use a 10.5+ rim and check what size tyre they mount on it and then ask yourself does some website on the internet really know better?

Checking tirerack does not make you educated you complete mong, so before you call me out and tell me to do my homework, maybe you should have done yours

GTR's run a 20 inch rim with a common size cause they buy in bulk and they utilize a 40 series sidewall front and the rear a 35. And I am sure it was a mis understanding...oh and increasing the size of the front and maximizing the rear help decrease under steer a lot on our cars. which have not a single thing in common to a F1.

So what if GT-R'S run 20's? Doesnt have any relevance to the issue we are discussing, which is the relationship between rim width and tyre width, incase you hadnt noticed! Buy in bulk? LOL They could buy any tyre size they wanted in bulk and could produce any rim width they wanted so that statement is quite stupid really.

The 40 and 35 sidewall makes no difference either, are you suggesting that if someone ran 21's on the GT-R and reduced sidewalls to 35 and 30 then they should also increase the width of the tyres used? You have no argument at all, You barely make sense, you just stated a bunch of irrelevant facts, but thanks for your input.

And while our wheels and tyres have not much in common with F1 cars, the principles all still apply... camber would help our vehicles in the same way that fitting the right size tyres would... the principles all come from motorsport, doesnt mean theyre not applicable to road cars.

So, new to this! Is it possible to fit 9.5 in front, and 10.5 on the rear. If so, what mods will I have to do without rubbing. Will I need my fenders rolled and/or spacers? What would be my offset?
