Most everyone runs the normal 245 front 275 or 285 rear on staggered set ups on standard e60's . I'm currently running 255/35/19 and 295/30/19. But on my next set my goal is to run the widest tires ever run on our standard e60's. Getting 265/35/19 and 305/30/19. Before anyone says I'll rub like crazy I really don't think that will be the case. A lot of you have said 255's and 295's would rub and wont work. First off my wheels are wide, 9 in front 10.5 in rear. They also have a perfect offset 20 front and 25 rear. With that said I also have my rear fenders rolled. The continental DWS don't seem to be as wide as my Evo v12's that I had on before. I'm thinking it's going to be really close but i can still fit a finger in the sidewall fender area. Don't forget I'm on coilovers to make this intresting. If it rubs a little I will raise them up by a couple mm. This should be interesting, I've only seen one guy run 305's on here. The only problem my tires now 255 and 295's are brand new so it might be a couple years.

I ran 305/30's on a 19x11 rear wheel a couple of years ago. No rubbing issues on sport suspension.

Your actually the only one I've seen run 305's. What was your overall opinion about them? Negative-positive? How close was it to the outside fender? Im surprised it didn't rub on the inside by your shocks, your high offset in the rear seems like it would. My 25 offset gets the tire really close to my coil shocks. Should I go with the 305's or stay with 295's?

you'll need a 5mm spacer in the front if your on stock suspension or a 12mm if your on a coilover. 9' wheels had et18 or less offset. Yes you can run 265/35 or 275/30. NO you cannot run a 275/35 its too big for non M fenders. The only place you rub with a nice tire setup up is the plastic fender liner towards the front.

Also the 295/30 is a taller tire than the 305. The 305 or greater rubs on the inner fender well near the frame I think. If 305 or bigger you'll need an offset of 22 or less numerically. But once you do that you'll need custom flared rears like Laidbacks car or ugh I forgot the other guys name..its the white M5 had similar mod done. anyways your acceleration will be compromised and MPG

Pics please after you have done the change. I am so curious to see how it will look.
