I have a 2005 BMW 525. I was wondering what the widest tires I can put my car. Is it 255 in front and 285 in rear?
I am thinking of getting new 19" wheels.

Thanks in advance.

Depending on the offset of your wheels you may not be able to fit 255 in the front. I could only do 245's in the front without rubbing and I had to roll my fenders in the back with 285's.
