i have dark poplar and i hate it.

the car is only two months old and i am not confident enough in my ability to wrap the trim in carbon fiber.

there is apparently nothing available in the aftermarket for an lci car.

it seems that my only option is to replace it with oem trim or to remove it and have it painted.

does anyone have any other suggestion?

and yes, i have utilized the search function in the top right corner, to unsatisfactory results.

grrr...

Are you looking for a DYI to remove the trims or options for trim replacement? Or both?

Try doing the carbon fiber trim wrap, but first cover your trim in masking tape that way if you screw up glueing the fabric to the trim you can just peel off the masking tape and try again.

My trim is the CF fabric. I took it to my shop to get it installed. They didn't charge too much just a few hours of labor.
