Having driven 7000 miles and already having some chips, especially on the front bumper, does it still make sense to have the clear bra installed now? Will the chips be more visible? Less? Or should I not do it anymore and just regret not having done it when the car was delivered?

PeterF, I would go for the clear bra, but touch up before putting it on. If you drive fast and pass every 18-wheeler that gets in front of you, you will take some flak. A couple of days ago I was driving 20 mph over the speed limit in the left lane of a four lane - also watching not to hold up anyone - and a car came around from somewhere on the outside next to the guard rail and threw gravel at the X3. Haven't checked for damage yet. Those things are going to happen.
