No jokes about the title, please!

Since some of the members are posting about how to remove chips/scratches I was wondering why don't more owners install a clear bra product?

It's not that expensive to have installed compared to the cost of the car, looks fine, is easy to remove/replace and does it's job very well.

The main reason I don't want to do it is I have black and it is more visible. Otherwise I think it is a great idea. I have heard it is least visible on silver.

I have 3M clear bra and I actually got a chip THROUGH it. I could just imagine what would have happened if I didn't have the clear bra.

To find more info use Google to search for: clear bra, transparent bra, 3m paint protection film, clear guard, stoneguard, Xpel or ArmourFend.

You'll find tons of links and info.

If you search for those terms and your city, maybe you'll come up with a local installer.

Maybe the material should be a little thicker for certain parts of the car?

I got it done - and I know it's saved me.

Compared to my severly pitted G35 without the clear bra after my daily commute.

G35kev, welcome! Very nice pictures, of course I'm biased having the silver gray as well. If you don't mind me asking, how much for the installation of your clear bra?

BMW of Austin just today quoted me $400 to have it done at the time of delivery with the same 3M material as both XPEL and Stoneguard use.
