I appreciate your help Anzafin, if you take a quick look let me know what the gap looks like.

Thanks again

You need a spacer cause KW springs are longer and interfere with the rim even on a 8.5 inch rim there's hardly any room to mount. So that's why there's 5mm there.I had to run 12mm spacer for the 9inch rim Im running. My offset is uh 6 lol.

member Socale39 has street comforts and he said he had a postcards width of clearance on his VMR's. I tried mounting mine with out spacer and the wheel wouldnt even get onto part of the hub.

Ok I went and measured the clearance. There's a 17mm gap between the tyre sidewall and the lower spring plate (wheels pointing straight forward). This is the narrowest spot in my setup.
Again, the wheel is 8.5x19 ET14 and the tyre is Hankook V12 245/35 R19. No spacers in front.

Makes sense since most factory 8.5x19 are et20 a 5mm spacer put you in that 14-15mm offset range

Don't think anyone has asked this but do you have room for an even bigger spacer? You mentioned you're not a big fan of spacers but quality spacers should not cause any wobbling feeling -- I've sold a ton of them with zero complaints.

Also where is it rubbing exactly? The sidewall of the tires?

17mm !!!???

That seems like a huge clearance? How could I be rubbing with 1mm less clearance from your set up.

Something does not make any sense.

Thanks for measuring, but I am even more confused now. wow.

I would have room yes, but I wouldn't want the fronts coming out any more aesthetically. It doesn not rub with the 5mm spacer anymore.

It is the tires rubbing on the springs/perch

Check your camber. I had a customer who kept saying he was rubbing saying that DPE built his wheels wrong etc.. Finally I convinced him to check his camber even though he was sure they were right. Guess what? his rubbing issues were all because of incorrect camber. Check your camber!

Are you 100% sure about the wheel specs?

Because if you check camber and all looks good it might come down to the tire that you're running. The Hankooks have a rounder sidewall whereas your tires are pretty square. I know you don't want to run spacers but the TMS ones I carry are perfection and will easily solve your problem.
