Going from Dunlop SP 01 run flat to Michelin Pilot Sports A/S...

Handling, ride, stability, road noise GREATLY improved. I found the run flats to be horrible tires. The sidewalls maybe stronger but I thought the grip sucked. Highway stability improved two fold. The run flats tramlined horribly. The car would dive into the next lane when changing lanes, I though the car's front end was crap until I changed the tires.

The tire change made a huge improvement in all aspects of how the car drives.
I picked up a set of Michelin PS A/S a couple of weeks ago and really like them so far. I bought the car with feathering front and worn rear Conti ContactSport2's so the ride was pretty rough and noisy. So obviously, in comparison the A/S's are awesome. Very little road noise, ride is very comfortable and they seem to be pretty grippy too (though I haven't pushed too hard yet). I would definitely recommend them.

So, we can reuse wheels for regular tires?
I thought I saw somewhere saying RFTs have special wheels and these wheels are only for RFTs...

I used the same BMW wheels (124) when I went from RFT to my PS2 with no problem. I've never heard of any problem using run flat wheels for non run flat tires. Can't imagine how that could ever be a problem.

That does not apply to BMW wheels, OEM or aftermarket.
