I'd have those sprayed in the colour of the car. That would look better than the reflectors.
Maybe because I HAVE to carry mine.

Thanks for the pics

I hesitated to add them because of the clean look of the M5 rear. But it's not an M5 and Its supposed to have them in the original design so...

another picture of the backside of the reflectors. the clip is circled and the part to "pull" is shown as looped. BTW, i simply used a small computer screwdriver- took about 90 seconds to do both.

Some one on this forum did have them painted the car color. It looked really good. Just don't remember who.

Looks great! I think it would look awesome on my car too. But I wonder if the normal rear taillights have reflectors in them? If not I wouldn't want them. Safety always comes first for me.

yes, i have mine changed and best of all...they are free !
my personal opinion is:
white exterior - either paint them white or change them. otherwise they'll look quite ugly and "cheap" .
black exterior - change them will be more eyecatching but leave them will be more sporty . either way is fine.
all other colors - change them. look much better, especially at night (reflections from other cars' headlights) .
