My Ride: 545I and a half dozen other rides
I know I seen them for sale but I have not really seen many pictures with them on the car or if I did, they blended in pretty good. Basically I'm talking about black kidneys with the outside rim painted body color.
Anybody got any with pictures to share?

i have gloss black on my jet black e60 which i like better than when it was all matte black.....but of course black's a whole different scenario....

That does not look as bad as I thought it would. A full black kidney is a little much sometimes especially on a lighter color car.

Very Nice!! IMO I think a full black grill looks better on the light color cars.

I actually think it looks pretty good. I just picked up a black 545 and it has the black grill with the crhome surrond, but I think I'm going to either paint the surround black or just buy a new grill that's already solid black.
