I actually use a suction cup with my TomTom and I installed it to the lower left corner of the windshield because it allows me to take quick glances without taking my eyes off the road. I always take the suction cup off and throw it in the glove box, when I get to my destination and I take my TomTom with me. G/L

here is another idea, this is to the right of the Idrive screen (since this car is Left Hand Drive), so you can see ur screen and your nav and anyone in shotgun can help you use it too.

that wire to the right is the wire that powers the Garmin Nuvi (Mini US. And you can see the disk I put right there so the suction mount can stay.
