My 2005 525i unfortunately came with the stock wheels non-sport package. Id like to get a set of 530i or 545i 18x8 wheels with tires. I searched eBay but there isn?t really any auctions from people who swapped there wheels and tires for something else. I asked the dealer he said he could give me money for mine and find me a set and it would come out close to somewhere around $1300. The story is different now that I purchased the car he said it?s pretty tricky to find a set of wheels and tires unless someone gives them back he also said he would have to sell my wheels first. They claimed to have a room in the basement full of wheels and such but they where just sitting in the corner of the service dept: wacko:. Anyways where could I find such wheels for a good price? They can?t be more then what the whole entire sport package is worth wheels/tires/seats/wheel etc.. $2,500 so how could new wheels be close to $3800? Stealer ship trying to rip off a customer .

Just curious why you didn't negotiate the upgraded wheels with your dealer/salesman before signing on the dotted lines.

Anyway, chech the classified sections here and also at bimmerfest.com and see if someone is selling what you are looking for (and hopefully someone local as I imagine that shipping these things would be hefty).

Good luck.

Look in the classifieds....

Here is a link to mine: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=5797

I have a pending sale, so please feel free to make a backup offer.

Cheers,

I did not really care about the wheels then I just wanted the car. The car had 600 miles on it but was not titled I got an incredible deal so I took it. I still expect to hear from the accesories guy at the dealer and see what he said.

Thanks for the link nice wheels.

I can tell you that BMW will not allow you to change wheels on cars for delivery here in the US. I too ordered my 545 w/out the Sports Package and got the style 116 wheels. I wanted to change to the 122 or 124 wheels offering to pay the difference between the 116 and the new wheels. Was told that I could not do it. You are certainly free to buy the wheels seperately and replace the stock wheels after delivery. Now whether a dealer would negotiate on that price inorder to close the deal maybe, but not likely if you are already getting a good deal on the car itself.

Hi ferrarislave:

I have left you a couple of online BMW OEM wheel links that might can help you in your wheel search: (NOTE: Both online sites are authorized BMW dealers with about 23% off BMW MSRP prices, not only on BMW OEM wheels, but anything you might need)

CLICK ON: BMW OEM Wheels - Chapman BMW Scottsdale AZ

CLICK ON: Pacific BMW - Glendale CA

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Raymond Presley aka Presley348
