Why besides from a dealership? BMW of Newport is actually your best bet. If you are a member on this site, you'll get a 25% discount. Ask for Garry Romani. You won't find the wheels any cheaper.

Lastly, you sure you want the 166's? Do the 167's instead.

For a minute I thought it was Newport Beach, Ca. by where I live.....

Shipping for rims (and tires) has got to be bloody expensive from way out there to the West Coast.
Rhode Island is about as far away from Cali as you're going to get...

$1600 for rims only and a grand and some change for the tires is do-able, but I can only imagine it's going to be
upwards of a few hundred to ship that much weight out here. As a last resort, maybe....

Thanks but no thanks.

edit:

Can you post a pic of the 167's or should I just do a "bmw of newport, ri" google search for the pic?

Some dude is selling 1 front and 1 rear for $240 each (do a search in classified). I know it's not a whole set, but if you want to save money, then that might be the way to go.

I saw the 166 pics on the signature of some guy on this forum. He had
a really slick looking silver e60.

Ok, will call him on Monday morning.

Another thing....I know absolutely nothing about tires. What size do you recommend
for that rim? Will it fit on an '08 535i without any spacers/modifications?

I'm hoping that rim will look really slick on my car.

p.s. can someone post a pic of the 166's vs. the 167's? I'm doing a Google search right now
and am not coming up with much... thanks

Go to tirerack.com for tires.245/35-19 for fronts and 275/30-19 for rears. Having spacers is personal preference, to give that flush look. I had a 12mm rogue spacer in the rear.

Hope this helps.
