My Ride: 5 Series Touring (E61) 2005, 530d
Hi there,
I just bought some 2nd hand BMW original alloy wheels with tyres.
2 of them have around 6mm of tread and the other 2 have 8mm of tread. Which ones should go on the front and which ones at the back?
My car is a 2005 530d Estate - E61

It's 17" BMW standard 225/50/17 wheels/tyres - Winter tyres
Not sure on the exact model

Put the 8mm on the rears since they'll wear a bit faster. I'll bet the 6mm came off the rear of the other car. That was approximately the difference when I pulled off my 17" 138s with the same size tires.
