Wheels with TPMS
You can easily have your tire shop remove them, install conventional rubber tire valve stems [your '06 has FTMs and the TPMS aren't going to be identified because your car doesn't have the required receivers], sell them for $25-$40 each here or on Ebay and it's a WIN-WIN

Ok great. Any idea how much it should cost to have them removed? Also, do I have to re-balance or any of that fancy stuff?

The tires will have to be unseated but probably not removed though the TPMS are bolt thru. A special wrench is used to loosen and remove them so the shop should be experienced with doing this kind of work. Yes, after replacing them with rubber stems a rebalance would be necessary. I can't imagine a good shop charging more than $15/wheel to do the job. Just ask in advance!
