if you lower your suspension, do you need different offset on the wheel?

because when i look for wheels, some have options for lowered suspension and OEM suspension, therefore i am thinking if i lower the suspension, should i get smaller offset or bigger? or same?

anyone has any idea?

You don't need to change the offsets if you lower the car, esp. if you are using the OEM rims afterward. The more important factor is knowing which offsets will fit, regardless.

The xi offsets are different from RWD, and you'll need around ET30-40 in front on 8.5" rim and if you go staggered in back you can do ET33-45 on 9.5" rim (using 245 and 275 tires front to back).
