I have a 530i with 18x8 sport wheels. ET 20

The 550i sport wheels are staggered 8's ET 20 and 9's ET 32.

My questions is do you think I will have any problems with purchasing staggered wheels with the rears being 18x9's ET 20 and using 15mm spacers for a 35mm offset?


Should these fit ok?

 

Somebody correct me if I'm mixed up, but I'm thinking your math is backwards and an ET 20 plus a 15mm spacer would be equal to a 5 ET not a 35.

 

JPJ is right. and if you had those wheels, did you mean you would have ET20 in the front and ET32 in the rear? the wheels i have are ET32 in the rear and im planning to get spacers for them sometime soon. best example i could give is vegastrashed's e60, and he's the one who taught me about offsets along with hollywoodtrash. well his offsets in the rear are ET28 with his oem 166 wheels. he put on 12mm spacers and now his wheels in the rear are ET16, making the wheels pretty much flushed with the fender. looks really good, which is the reason why i want to put spacers on mine. im planning to put on 15mm spacers, which would make it ET17 opposed to ET32. hope this helps.
