go w/ the chrome. they are ALOT easier to maintain than polished and they look pretty much the same.

And dont get me wrong, i dont drive allways gravel road but sometimes i have to when i go visiting my relatives to backforests....monkeys and other caveman looking creatures
EDIT: Goddammit or how do you say it...while i wrote this you wrote a good points why to get chromed. How easy the chrome will get off the lip when stones and stuff flyes to it.

Yea i found wonderful place called google and picture search and i watch rims with chromed lip and polished lip, the chromed is only little brighter than polished when wheel are new and i think if you take good care from then they will stay bright and shiny. Chromed could be easier to keep clean than polished but what if i drive these nordic gravel roads what will happen to the chrome, i scare that hitting stones will leave marks and then they are a problem so that way polished are better... so perhaps its the polished lip and hard rubbing with toothbrush .

I've had chrome and also polished lips.... go with Chrome... they look basically the same when they are new.. eventually the polished lips will get dull over time and you have to maintain them.. Chrome is basically no maintenance and always looks good

i have just orderd some Iforged 20" from Joe I went for a polished lip, main reason here in the UK we dont have many companies that will re coat chrome (in case I kerb one), hence I went for a polished dish
