i noticed that most lowering springs out there lowers mostly on the front... the rear is jacked up too high (especially after removing the spare tire) ...
any recommendation on lowering the rear somemore other than getting a set of coilovers?

i'd say maybe it's H&R Race. and cut it if they are not low enough for ya.
But coilover will have a perfect slammed look

+1 H&R race springs, the rear is lowered by 2 inches. but keep in mind if you go with that, your front will also be lowered by 2". check out member black525i's e60. he recently just put on H&R race (and cut it i believe? not 100% sure though) along with m-tech kit. i know that when vegastrashed had his race springs, he left the front the way it was and cut one coil i believe in the back to get rid of that raked look. hope this helps.

cut spring.... i always wanted to do it... but many people say its not recommended.... because you can never get it done as nicely as original...and spring rate is gone... any experience on this?

H&R Race springs will give you the look you want. Don't cut the springs. Wait a few hundred miles and if you do decide to cut the springs, cut only the dead coil on the rears. Like NeRwEEzy mentioned I cut the springs to level out my car and remove the raked look.
