Interested in replace the carbon emblems on the trunk and hood but wondering whether it is easy to have them replaced?

Its easy. Just just a flat screw driver, wrap a cloth around it. Then gently wedge it between the emblem and the car, then try to lift gently around the circle, eventually it'll come off. Reuse old adhesive on new emblem, and yuo're set.

Cannot push it out from under the hood and trunk? I am so afraid that I will scratch the paint of bend the hood/trunk.

I watched my Dinan guy do this when he swapped my badge on my M3.

Heat up the old badge with a blow dryer (it will moisten the adhesive and make it easier to remove) and then 'lift' the badge off. Rather than using a screwdriver, try finding a plastic spackle knife (or similar) with a sharp edge. That will make for a good prying device while you heat up the badge (and should mitigate the possibility of scratching your paint).

Good luck!
Cheers,
Mark

I don't know if it is possible to use the dental floss trick, but I know for people who have debadged their cars, they slide dental floss under neath the numbers and then work it back and forth to loosen the adhesive. If you could loop the floss over the top half of the roundel, you may be able to pull it tight and work it loose.

Thank you all for sharing.

Looks like it should be easy to remove them. Just another thought, that maybe I should keep the OEM roundel as the carbon ones might easy to get stolen which the thieves will not care so much by removing them.... Agree?

Since roundels are harder to wear around someone's neck, I would not be as concerned about someone stealing them as if I drove a Benz. I don't think someone would steal them, but I guess it all depends on where you live.
