yeah I had magnaflow on my 535 and it was good, than went to cherry bombs and it was great, but now I am having Matt @ CamberToe, build me a custom setup from the dp's all the way back which will even make sum hp. cut and weld was great but a nice custom system wil be much sicker!!

When you say custom magnaflow exhauset, do you have a particular model in mind for my car?

Which model magnaflow muffler did you use? Did you keep the stock tips or get an exhaust with tips already in place? Any sound clips? I don't want a "ricer" coffee can exhaust sound, but rather something deeper and meaner. I know these euro 3 liters can sound nice with the right setup (have a 3.2 liter AMG that sounds MEAN!) but I also know they can sound like crap if not done right....

Cheapest way would be to do a rear muffler delete and have piping out to quad tips. Myself and xenon rider have done it. Magnaflow is also a good way to go.

I maybe misreading something here but thought I would add my 2cents.

You are just looking for a "note" change on your exaust that is inexpensive?
You don't care if you lose HP's?

I had a Magna'slow on my ride and although it sounded good it lost HP's.
We are talking just a muffler change.
I don't know what you have lined up for your magnaflow custom.

But I would say invest in the RPI exaust, great "note" change and improved HP.
I'm guessing you only want to buy the exaust once.

Keep us informed with what you decide.

Doubtful. Magnaflows gained power on my 550i as observed by a Mustang Dynamometer (tested before and after installation). There is a thread around here on the parts used and design, etc.

Here is the thread. Go to the end of the thread and you'll see the parts list and other information. https://5series.net/forums/topic/985...t-and-fiction/

hes talking about just a muffler swap, which will probably cause a loss, not a full custom setup like you
