I've been told Axxis is really good. You have option to choose exactly what your need. Look at their comparison chart! 
I'll change to Axxis once I have my maintenance expires. Why spend another ~$340? (Parts and labor) Don't forget that you need to buy 4 brake pad sensors, too.

Thanks Attila. I was actually on that thread as well but since I've heard differing opinions on different brands of brake pads, I thought I'd start this thread. I'm sure all of them are great but I was interested in seeing people's opinions.
I know the green stuff is nice. But the next mod with brakes will be new ones BREMBO

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front.
Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.
This may be irrelevant, but I have some experience on another car...
I tried the EBC green stuff and the Axxis Deluxe on my 00 Accord coupe.
EBC green stuff is great, no noise, great stopping power, but seems to have more wear on the rotor, last me 35k miles or so for the front of my FWD accord. Definitely less dust than our E60 but more dust than the weak OEM pads. No signs of rotor wear on my OEM pads for 70k miles, and then at the end of my 35k miles on the EBC, there's a deep groove from the EBC pads. Not sure if it's purely from the EBC, or just the rotor is getting high miles overall.
Axxis Deluxe has similar stopping power, but I got some grinding noise. I changed them out back to honda OEM before I sell the car since it's kind of embarassing. Dust wise I think it's a little better than EBC? Don't quite recall as I don't even have alloy wheels on my old car, so didn't really care much. 15k miles on the Axxis on a set of new brembo rotors, and the rotor looks fine.
All I heard are great things on the Axxis deluxe for the E60, so I assume it maybe my old car's problem or I just happen to get a set of bad pads.

I have axxis deluxe on my car - put them on at 500km and have 12,000km on it now. No complaints, feels just like the oem pads but no dust. Just ordered a set for my wife's X3. A friend of mine has been running them on his cars (2002 M5, 2000 Boxster, 2001 X5) for a couple of years now with no issues either.
Once you put them one you will wonder why anyone uses oem pads - seriously.
