The 550i AFE CAI was shoehorned into my 545i yesterday. Without some custom modifications, there would be no way possible to fit the 550i AFE CAI on my 545i. Here are a few pics of the engine bay post-installed. And, there is a sound clip as well. 
My setup is AFE CAI, Superchips UK remap software done by Singh Autosports, Sprint Booster, resonators deleted, and cat-back RDSport quad exhaust. All these mods combined, IMO, really makes a BIG difference. Now, it's time to go hunt for some turkey. Turkey5.... gobble, gobble...

vt, cai ? the air filter seems to be drawing air from inside the engine compartment (more or less) - what am I missing ?
