What would I do if I got $6K??... spend it all on the mods mentioned above... but only admit to spending about $1K to the wifey...

wheels you can have for 3k - 4k with tires.
i would still think he would need more like 7-7.5k for this.

Wheels first and then m-tech kit.

Suspension = 1200
M-Tech Kit = 1700
Something like this... Depending on how much you want to spend on rims and suspension. IMHO these three mods do the most for the car.
