If you get cheap one like $140 for whole car or like that, you will experience fade of tint and it will bubble up easily. Spend good amount of money to get it done right.. It is like investment on car.. Better tint will give you better UV and heat blocker and will protect your leather...
Its not about price. Ask around, get some opinions from people who went to specific places before you choose.
I got my wifes car tinted over 3 years ago in Miami for $140. Tint still looks good as new.
I just got my windows tinted for $180.
Metallic tint looks nicer, but will not last as long as non-metallic. Alot of good tint specialists don't use metallic because of problems with radio and NAV reception.

i had some film installed on my first 530 called NightHawk 20%.. im not sure who manufactures it but it was the perfect compliment for my titanium-silver car. they gave me a great warranty (for as long as i own the car) so make sure the shop you get it installed gives you a warranty on paper... im considering putting on the same film on my titanium grey II
cost me $145

tint, just like wheels on your car, is personal preference. you best bet is to ride around in a couple of different cars with various shades of tint & decide from there. my shop uses suntek brand tint which works very well in the the las vegas heat. overall i would say that 35% adds just the right amount of "darkness" and plenty of heat reduction. hope this helps.
btw on my car i have 15% on all four doors and back window & 30% on the windshield.
